| Mice found a nice home behind the passenger side foot rest panel. |
| After gutting the interior, you can really see the rot, the floor is almost completely gone. |






| Driver side rot - you can see that the heater channel is almost completely gone. The areas in front of the rear wheel & behind the front wheel have been filled with bondo & fiberglass at some point in the past. |



| The first order of business was welding in braces to fold the body together so it could be unbolted from the what is left of the pan. Note that the braces are triangulated for rigidity. |






| The pan with the old floors cut out - not much is left once you've done this. |
| Here is how the expression "rust bucket" got started. What is left of the old floors & convertible support rail + a bucket of bondo, pieces of rusty floor + a bucket of rust flakes & dust. |
| Most of the new sheet metal. I'm still waiting on a couple of parts. Here you can see the new DR side floor, heater channels, convertible support rails, & front frame bottom. |

| Added a hoist system to suspend to body over to pan. Now the heat channel and convertible rail can be cut out and replaced. now able to raise and lower for test fitting. |


| Finally started putting things back together. Front firewall is welded in along with the driver's side heater channel, and convertible support rail. |
